PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

Through the summer and fall of 2004 the foundation organized an Art contest. The theme was HOW TO SHOW KINDNESS. The nine winners from five different categories will be chosen on Saturday October 26.

 From all the entries we will be picking artwork that will appear on a beautiful, full colour glossy poster called “PICTURE THE PROMISE".

 On the evening of November 18 the Maple School Of Art will be hosting a dinner with 800 in attendance. It will be at this dinner, that we will introduce the winners and their prizes will be given out. You do not have to be among the artistic winners for your artwork to appear on our poster. Along with the prizes the distribution of the posters will begin.  The beautiful posters will spread the important message of kindness to others and will be displayed in many areas.

 May I express a very special thank you to Marc Levin and Garret Berk, owners of MR CASE, for their large financial contribution and valuable participation. Their unwavering commitment to spread goodwill and help others within the community all made this venture a wonderful success.

 Also I would like to extend thanks and appreciation to the Maple school of Art and their Owner and Creative Director Catherine Sgro. Catherine did a lot of hard work and preparation to keep this project on schedule.

Thank you to all those who took their valuable time and participated. Even though we can choose only some, you are all winners in my eyes because you all made a special effort to spread the important message to the world with your wonderful gift of Art. I was honestly surprised and impressed with the quality and talent of the students.
